The Bucintoro is our chronograph, a watch capable of measuring specific intervals of time, designed to combine precision and elegance in a contemporary design. Its name is inspired by the homonymous galley of the Doge, head of state of the Serenissima. Traditionally, the ship opened the dances at the Regata Storica, which featured the best rowers of Venice and represented the major sporting competition on the Grand Canal. This race represents the ideal union of the competitive concept of speed on the water with the elegance of tradition. A pinnacle of mechanical chronographs The Seiko NE88/8R48 is among the highest performing in Seiko's range of automatic chronograph movements, hand-assembled only by their most experienced and highly skilled watchmakers with decades of experience. We chose to equip our chronograph with this movement because of its excellent performance, which clearly distinguishes it from all other chronograph calibers in the same price range.
